Cleaning – how it works

This page is for cleaners of a place that is managed with LinArt. You need no LinArt account and no app: the link from the e-mail (or from the host via WhatsApp) opens your cleaning card (/t#…) with the address, the time window, the checklist and your own door code.

Quick start

  1. Open the link. The e-mail “Cleaning {place}: {time}” contains the link to your card. It is personal – do not pass it on. The card shows the place, “Address”, “Time window”, “Next arrival” with the number of guests and the “Checklist”.
  2. Door code from 1 hour before the start. Your code appears in the “🔑 Door code” box one hour before the time window. Before that it says “The door code appears here from {time}.”
  3. On the keypad: type the code and confirm with ✓ (some locks: touch the keypad first). The code works for all doors of the place that belong to the lock system.
  4. Tick the checklist while you work.
  5. At the end tap ✓ Done — the flat is ready – see Reporting done.

Something is broken or missing? Report a problem → describe it briefly → Send. The host gets the message at once.

The code does not come – or the door does not open

  1. Wait a minute and reload the page. If “The code is being sent to the lock.” is shown under the code, it has not reached every lock yet – the system keeps retrying automatically.
  2. Check the time window. The code appears only 1 hour before the start and works only until the end of the window (see Time window). Before that it says “The door code appears here from {time}.”
  3. Right door, right entry? Touch the keypad, type the code, confirm with ✓. The front door and the flat door use the same code.
  4. Call the host. The phone number is on the card under “Host” (if the host has entered one) – just tap it. The host sees the state of the code and knows the emergency way in (key safe, mechanical key).
  5. Also tap Report a problem on the card – so the incident is noted with the host.

Reporting done

  1. Tick the items of the checklist – the host can see later what was done.
  2. Tap ✓ Done — the flat is ready. The card confirms: “Thank you! Reported as done.”
  3. After that your door code is removed from the lock and the host gets “Done: {place} … The place is ready.” This cannot be undone – tap only when you are really finished and outside.

Report a problem (damage, missing towels, guest still there …): write the text in “What is wrong?” and tap Send. The card shows “Reported. Thank you!”, the host receives “Problem reported: {place}”. This also works after “Done”.
